ACT Dominators:  Tomorrow is the 18th!  You can wear your ACT shirts with jeans on Friday.  If you don't have yours yet, see Mrs. Arbuckle.

 

Graduate sales will be on campus today, November 17, in the E building foyer from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. to take orders for Junior rings and Senior graduation merchandise.  A $100 deposit is required to place the order.

Seniors:  Your cap-and-gown is not purchased through Graduate Sales.  You will pay for the cap-and-gown when you pay the $60 senior class fee that is either due in December for Midterm grads or March for May grads.

 

The Encore Drama Club will present a comedy "The Election" tonight at 6 pm.  Doors open at 5:30 and the cost is $5 at the door.  Make plans to be there because this is our only performance.

 

JROTC is selling "Buc Nation" shirts for $20.

 

Students enrolled for AP US history and AP government with Mrs. Allison next semester will need to pick up the Christmas assignment before the Christmas holiday.  Packets are in Mrs. Schufft's office during non-classroom times.

 

The Lady Bucs basketball team beat Haynesville in the Lakeside Tournament last night, and will play Minden Today at 5 at Lakeside.  Way to go Lady Bucs!!  Come support them and the boys basketball team as they play in the Lakeside Tournament this week.

 

Congratulations to our boys soccer team for beating Southwood last night 3-1.

 

Today is Activity Period and the following clubs will be meeting:  4-H, Kitty Hawk, and Student Council.  Leo Club and Tri M will NOT meet today.

Students in English III AP Language next semester must go see Mrs. Navarro (EN-8) or Mrs. Goslin (EN-3) to pick up your reading assignment due January 5th!

 

FCA shirts are in and may be picked up in Mrs. Duncan’s room upstairs in the H building between classes or during lunch.

 

Beta and NHS members:  Just a reminder, your Salvation Army items are due today by 2:30 p.m. Turn them in to Mrs. Cox, Mrs. Stallcup or Mrs. St. Andre'.

Attention ALL Destination Imagination Members need to meet after school today in Mrs. Raley's room.  We need to discuss theme ideas for the upcoming Sadie Hawkins Dance and you need to meet with your team.  We will be done by 3.

 

Congratulations to our Varsity girls soccer team for defeating Woodlawn 8-0 to go 1-0 in district play.

Goals were scored by Parker Mcclung , Ciara White (2) , Madison Waldron, Genet Leist, Stormie Hughes, Tori Lunsford and Shelby Watson.

 

Our JV girls soccer team defeated Woodlawn’s JV Tuesday night 4-0.

Goals were scored by Sarah Silny, Cami Sessions, Gracie Currence, and Lauren Tompkins.  Sarah Paige Robertson had 1 save.  Congratulations, Lady Bucs!

The cost will be $5.00 per person and the money will be taken up at the beginning of 1st block on Wednesday.

Jeans must meet all school uniform regulation requirements: no skinny jeans, no holes, no inappropriate symbols or language, no tears or ragged bottoms, and must be in overall good condition. Shirts must be tucked and appropriate belts worn with the jeans.

 

The Library will be closed today due to the ASVAB test administration.  An announcement will be made when it has reopened.  

 

Wednesday and Thursday  Science Fair projects will be displayed in the library.  Come by during non-class times to view.

$60 Senior Fee can be paid to Mrs. Melton during lunch shifts only.  Midterm graduates: Due December 9  May Graduates: Due March 24.  Also, check with Mrs. Melton on how you can sign up to receive Remind messages for the senior class.

 

Redemption Day will be Monday, November 14.

 

The Bucs are travelling to New Orleans today to play John Ehret in the first round of the playoffs.  Coach Brotherton has pre sale tickets for $8. They will be $10 at the game. He will sell them through first block today.
