Daily Announcements

The Lady of the Locket Beauty Pageant will be held on Sat., Feb 4th at Airline High School's auditorium.

Any girl interested in participating in this year's pageant may pick up an application in Mrs. St. Andre's room, Lab 3, during NON class time.

Applications are due Jan. 20th.

 

Officer Almond will be doing a complete parking lot survey on Friday so for those students that drive to school and do not have a white 2016/17 Parking Permit hanging on your rear view mirror, you should probably take care of that today otherwise you will be ticketed.                                                                                                            

 

Students who made an 18 or higher on their ACT will be allowed to wear their ACT domination shirts with jeans on Wednesday, January 18th.  See Mrs. Arbuckle if you have questions.

 

Graduation Celebration is having a yard sale at Eastwood this Saturday from 6am until noon (later if necessary).  Please bring any items to donate to Eastwood on Friday evening beginning at 6.  If you need items picked up, please contact Mrs. Harlan.

 

Diamond dolls sign up sheets are outside Mrs. Lemoine’s room S124 and need to be returned to her personally by the end of January, but the sooner the better!

 

Color guard and Drill team will practice today from 2:30 until 4:30 in the large JROTC classroom.

Each 9 weeks students who had perfect attendance and student who made the AB Honor Roll are put into a drawing to win a $10 gift card to Regal Cinemas.  One boy and one girl from each class are drawn. Teachers, please do NOT send these students to the library, but distribute students their prizes that were placed in your box this morning.

  • Congratulations to Aaron Jones.  He is the first HHS cadet to ever qualify for the Air Force JROTC Marksmanship Nationals. He'll compete in Anniston, Alabama in February.  Good luck Aaron!
