Teachers:  we have one bus that has broken down and 5 other buses are picking up that buses route.  If students are tardy to your class because they are on a late bus, they will have a slip from Tardy Central noting they were on the late bus.


The library will be streaming the Inauguration Day ceremonies and events during all four lunch shifts today if you would like to see President Elect Trump become our 45th president.

 

It's time to purchase that special someone a Valentine.  Love Lines for the Valentine Issue of the Corsaire cost $2.50 for 15 words, $5.00 for 30 words, and $8.00 for 30 words and a picture or 45 words. You may purchase from a "newsie" or come by the newsroom/Mrs. Goslin's Room EN-3.  

 

Mrs. Allison has the senior supplies from Balfour for anyone who did not receive them when ordering.  This is NOT invitations, but only the t-shirts, sweatshirts and pants, etc.  You may pick up yours during non class time.

 

Girls start making plans to ask your date to the upcoming Sadie Hawkins Dance to be held in the boys gym on Saturday, February 11th.  Tune in next Friday to KHHS for a special Sadie Hawkins segment.  Until then, if you have any questions about what to wear or what it’s all about,  see Mrs. Raley, Mrs. Stallcup, Mrs. Freeman, or any DI member.  The theme this year is 'You're the One that I Want!" and t-shirts must be preordered and are on sale now through Wednesday, January 25th.  Come by the library to place your order for a shirt or See Mrs. Raley, Mrs. Freeman, or Mrs. Stallcup or any DI member. T-shirts are $15 and are school approved to wear on Fridays.

The Sadie Hawkins dance will be held Saturday, February 11, in the boys’ gym from 8:00-11:00 p.m.   Sadies tshirts will be available for sale beginning Tuesday, January 17 for $15 and may be purchased from any DI member.  More info about ticket sales will be given next week.

Graduation Celebration is having a yard sale at Eastwood this Saturday from 6am until noon (later if necessary).  Please bring any items to donate to Eastwood tonight beginning at 6.  If you need items picked up, please contact Mrs. Harlan.

 

Diamond dolls sign up sheets are outside Mrs. Lemoine’s room S124 and need to be returned to her personally by the end of January, but the sooner the better!

The Lady Bucs plucked the feathers out of the Falcons from Northwood last night 7-0.

Goals were scored by Shelby Watson, Ciara White, Genet Leist, Parker McClung, and Kaycee Hernandez.

Tori Lunsford had 8 keeper saves!

The Lady Bucs take the pitch Saturday at 4:00 PM vs. Pineville at Tinsley. Come see your Bucs!


Boys soccer beat Northwood 1-0 and the winning goal was scored by Alex Englund.  Congratulations to our boys soccer team!
