Teachers:   Please pick up the kindness challenge checklists from your students and send them to E-17 or place in Ms. Meyer’s box.

There will be a Ring Staff meeting Wednesday, February 1, immediately after school in Mrs. Ray’s room.  Everyone needs to be in attendance.  See Mrs. Ray if you have questions.

 

It's time to purchase that special someone a Valentine.  You may purchase a love line from a "newsie" or come by Mrs. Goslin’s room.  

 

Girls start making plans to ask your date to the upcoming Sadie Hawkins Dance to be held in the boys gym on Saturday, February 11th. Tickets will go on sale Monday, February 6 and will be $10 each.  

 

If you are interested in playing tennis for HHS this year, please come by the library to get a packet from Ms. Meredith.  Deadline to sign up is tomorrow, January 31..

 

The last day to sign up to be a Diamond Doll is TODAY.  There will be a mandatory meeting for all Diamond Dolls after school today in Mrs. Lemoine’s room S124.  Contact Mrs. Lemoine for details about the meeting.

 

Drill team will meet today in the large JROTC classroom from 2:30 until 3:30. Color guard will meet tomorrow the same place and time.

 

Golf tryouts will be Wed Feb 1st at Olde Oaks Golf Course beginning at 3 pm.

You must sign up with Ms. Weaver if you are planning on trying out Wed.

 

BOYS VARSITY BOWLING TEAM WILL HAVE A MATCH TODAY VS BOSSIER AT 3:15 AT HOLIDAY LANES.  WE ALSO WILL HAVE A MATCH VS BENTON ON THURSDAY FEB 2ND,  SAME TIME AND PLACE. COME OUT AND SUPPORT OUR BOWLING TEAM.

 

If you are interested in joining FTA, Future Teachers’ Association, sign up sheets are located outside Mrs. Shaw’s door.  There are no dues, but by signing up, you are saying you are committed to helping with Teacher Appreciation Week and Freshman Orientation.  See Mrs. Shaw if you have questions.

Awesome Anchor drawings will occur in just one week! Nominate a teacher, counselor, administrator, librarian, custodian, cafeteria worker, secretary, or a teacher's aide! Drop boxes are in the library and in the H2 offices next to tardy central!  Nomination forms are in both locations.

Congratulations to Josh Lister for placing 1st in the LSU State Qualifying Meet this weekend in the 60 meter dash.  His winning time ranks him 4th in the nation.  Also, congratulations to the 4x200 relay team which got 3rd out of 57 teams.  Members of that team are Josh Lister, Kynan Hayes, Emile Cole, and Lavonte Gibson.
