Outstanding performances for the track team at the State Championships!

The track team finished the season on a high note by winning the State  Championship in the 4x100 relay. The team consists of Lavontae Gipson, Kynan  Hayes, Emile Cola and Josh Lister. They set the school record with a time of  41.15. The same team also set the school record in the 4x200 relay with a  winning time of 1 26.73 beating a 42 year old school record made in 1975 by a  team led by Joe Delaney. Also congratulations to Josh Lister for winning the  State Championship in the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.44 ranking him in  the top 10 in the country.
