If your interested in joining Beta for the 2018-2019 school year, applications are available outside Lab 2.  They are due back by Friday, May 4.

Friday, May 4th is the LAST CALL for yearbook orders.  Order online for $65 or see Mrs. St. Andre in Lab 3 during NON class time.

 

Juniors who are participating in Ring Ding:  If you have not submitted pictures for the slide show, it must be done ASAP.  This includes individual pictures: baby picture and current pictures and group pictures.  We have received several group photos, but some people have not sent in any. If you want your group of friends represented in the slide show, you have to send in pictures.

There is a list posted outside Mrs. Harlan's door of people that she does not have pictures from - please check there.  If you have a question, please ask between classes or at lunch.

 

You are invited to attend  the film screening of Sidney Lain's Short Film Documentary  at the I3 Art Expo today and Friday at 6 pm at the Bossier Civic Center. Her film is 1 of 3 Finalists. Those attending the screening will  be allowed to cast a vote for the People's Choice Award so come support Sidney and help her win.

 

Marksmanship will not practice today.

 

Model Aviation and Rocketry Club will meet tomorrow in the JROTC Large Classroom after school.

 

XC tryouts will be after school Tuesday May 8th. If you are interested please see Coach Drake Smith in H-4.

 

Girls basketball tryouts will be held on Monday May 14th in the girls gym from 3:00-4:30. All those planning to tryout need to come by the girls gym before Friday May 11th and put their name on the list for tryouts. Please wear appropriate clothing and tennis shoes. See Coach Pesnell if you have questions.

 

Varsity/JV Volleyball tryouts for next season will be Wednesday May 16th from 2:45 - 4:45 in the Boys Gym.   Coach Ginn will have a sign up sheet in his classroom in H-08 for those interested in trying out.

 

Tryouts for the 2018-2019 HHS Lady Bucs soccer team will be held on Sunday, May 27th from 3-5 PM here at the high school. ALL girls intending to try out MUST submit a current LHSAA physical that is signed by a doctor. It can be turned in early or the day of tryouts. No one tries out without a physical.

Congratulations to the following students for their accomplishments at Mr. Debonair this weekend.  People’s Choice Winner, Justin Nixon, Most Photogenic, James Rose, Mr. Congeniality, Paul Marshall, 4th runner up Kaimana Williams, 3rd runner up Jacob Rhymes, 2nd runner up Logan Wilkerson, 1st runner up Emile Cola, and our 2018 Mr. Debonair is Paul Marshall.

 

Congratulations to Sidney Lain and Cody Primeaux for making the cheerleading squad at Louisiana Tech University and congratulations to Tobias Jones for making the cheer squad at Northwestern State University.
